This track and field season we are going to focus heavily on the importance of nutrition and hydration so that YOU, the student athlete, can perform at your highest ability. We want you to be successful this season in your academics as well as in your athletics, and what you put into your body is what you will get out of your body. Having proper food intake and hydration can help you focus, be alert, process information faster, think critically as well as it gives you more energy, it sustains you longer, provides fuel for your body to finish the workouts and recover your muscles after. These are just a few of the many benefits of eating right. Remember, like we said at the team meeting, we will work with you and make sure that eating right can be as affordable as possible for you and your family.
